Disregard portability, Will you buy a monopod if you already have a tripod?

Another option is to use a tripod with just 2 legs extended! Gives you a little more stability than a monopod and is only slightly more cumbersome to set up. But if yo udo a lot of work where the monopod is ideal, by all means use one!
