Generally speaking, is the 'typical Atheist' side tracking the main argument against Theists?

Not exactly, atheists are interested in those topics in politic, philosophy and science; they have no time for God. However, evangelists always troubling them by their frequent visit in order to talk about God. Then the obvious defense in atheists are applying their knowledge to against those evangelists.
